John Denver is a popular artist and musician who has touched a lot of people through his music. Most of his songs were inspired by Colorado. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. was born in Roswell New Mexico. He fell in love Colorado. The singer-songwriter eventually settled in Aspen. Denver's national anthems to his adopted state have drawn many to Colorado. G. Brown the curator of Colorado Music Hall of Fame stated that John Denver was by far one of the most popular artists who represented Colorado. Denver is the Hall of Fame's inaugural inductee was recognized with this honor in 2011. Denver is a symbol of the state for all people. Through my many travels, I've encountered many people who are not from Colorado. They'll declare, "Oh John Denver!" whenever they learn that you are from Colorado. Brown declared. Take Me Home Country Roads was Denver's top 10 hit after he performed with small folk music bands. The song was written and produced by Bill Danoff. Danoff composed the song in the name of Johnny Cash but Denver recognized its potential after hearing it first.
