Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig 21st September, 1983). 21 1982) is a well-known American actor. Particularly, she was the character Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost television show, and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington in Ohio. She was kicked out of high school after her parents split up to move to Los Angeles to live with her mother. The actress landed her first part, as Rachel's Room's main character in 2001 despite struggling in the financial department. The television film Murder in Greenwich where she played a 15-year-old Martha Moxley earned her the nomination of a Young Artist Award. Grace played Shannon Rutherford on the Lost TV show in 2004. She played the lead role for two seasons, and was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace was dropped from the series in 2005 to pursue an even more prominent role in film, appearing alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in the film Taken. The role she played was Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken the year 2008) on Suburban Girl and The Jane Austen Book Club. Taken 2 (2012), Taken 3 2014 and Taken 4 (2014) were her reprises of roles. Grace returned to Shannon's character as Shannon in Lost for two additional episodes, including the series final. Grace was a part of the show's sixth season which ran from 2013 to 2014. She portrays Faith as a groupie and is also a model actors. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. Gyllenhaal is a part of the family, and is the older cousin of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her career began as a young teenager as she was cast in minor parts in a few films directed by her father. Also, she worked alongside her brother in 2001's cult film Donnie Darko. Her next roles were in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, both 2002 and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal has received critical praise for her leading roles in Secretary (2002 the erotic romance drama), and Sherrybaby (606) and Sherrybaby (606) of which earned her Golden Globe Award nods. In 2006, she appeared in several commercially successful movies including World Trade Center. However, it was her role as Rachel Dawes that brought her wider attention in The Dark Knight (2008). Following her acclaimed performance as an unmarried mother on the screen in Crazy Heart (2009), she was awarded an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. The following years she was a part of comedies and dramatic films: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011, and Won't Back Down 2012. Her other characters include as a secret agent of The Secret Service in White House Down 2013 as well as a singer in Frank 2014, and as a singer in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, in which she plays the lead character. Gyllenhaal began her career as a director, screenwriter and script writer when she directed and wrote the psychological thriller The Lost Daughter. The film received the award for Best Screenplay in the Venice International Film Festival, and was also nominated for the Academy Award.
